About

A European space company working on the transport layer for the Moon.

SpaceOro is an engineering organisation, not an operator. The work today is mission design, orbital analysis and vehicle architecture for a lunar transportation network that starts with mapping and ends with routine cargo.

Lunar prospecting

Turning scattered ice detections at the south pole into survey data a mission planner can actually land on.

Reusable transport

A vehicle architecture designed for repeat transfers between low Earth orbit and lunar orbit rather than one-off flights.

European supply chain

Built with European avionics, propulsion and ground segment suppliers, under European programmes.

The near-term focus is the lunar south pole. Water ice there has been detected by several missions since 2009, but detection is not the same thing as a map, and a base cannot be sited on a signal average spread over kilometres.

Longer term, the same architecture supports cargo between Earth orbit, lunar orbit and the lunar surface. Mars is an expansion of that architecture, not a separate programme.
